Today, Mykola Tomenko, the Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, a participant of the campaign in Afghanistan, on the occasion of the 65th Anniversary of Great Victory took part in a flower ceremony in the Glory Park in Kyiv.
After the completion of the ceremony, Mykola Tomenko, asked by the journalists stated that the celebration of this holiday according to him, showed two peculiarities. Thus, he mentioned that the general slogan of the celebration was supposed to be: "For Veterans! For Ukrainian Nation!", instead there was a slogan "For Soviet Motherland! For Stalin!" "If the Authority is not aware of the fact it is representing the Ukrainian State, then the next Great Victory Anniversary will be held under the slogans "For Russia! For Medvedev!", the Deputy Chairman emphasised.
"The second peculiarity or even such a paradoxical cynicism was the fact the ideologists of the Soviet propaganda in the life of the Ukrainian people became state politicians, who according to certain conditions even have not undergone the military service", M. Tomenko declared.
